With a quarter of a million daily users of this app, the MTA needed an app that would be more intuitive for its users and more efficient overall. We created an app that would empower commuters to easily navigate their journey without added stress.
For an advanced city like New York, watching a schedule board update or looking at pre-made schedule that doesn't update in real time needs to be left in the past.
TrainTime allowed users view schedules, see real-time delays, find the right platforms, save their favorite journeys for quick access, view specific ticket prices and more.
This allowed commuters and travelers alike the freedom to find the information they needed while on their way to the station, instead of arriving early to wait and watch what the train schedules were doing.
